Not much difference here... I've been a long supporter of Modern Device Company, as he's been very helpful with my students and was an early initiator of keeping the hardware open-design for others. Plus $5 cheaper.
Ultimately, I hope to see this module built into later designs.

The GPS-a-sketch could be used as a logger, though does not have the SD cart, and has an LCD & audio built in. I really intended the design for realtime applications as apposed to data-logging, though that function will be used for the Klein exhibition component of this project.
